GIGABYTE X870E AERO X3D DARK WOOD is designed for modern systems based on the AMD AM5 platform. The board supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors, making it suitable for gaming PCs, workstations, creative systems and configurations with room for future upgrades.

The AMD X870E chipset provides access to fast PCIe 5.0, USB4, DDR5 and modern networking features. Two full-length PCIe 5.0 slots, one PCIe 4.0 slot, four M.2 connectors and four SATA 6Gb/s ports allow configurations with a high-performance graphics card, multiple NVMe SSDs and classic SATA drives.

The 16+2+2 Twin Digital VRM power design, 8-layer PCB, 2X Copper PCB, reinforced power connectors and quality components are designed for stable CPU operation under sustained load. Two 8-pin ATX 12V power connectors are relevant for configurations with high-performance Ryzen processors.

The board supports 4 DDR5 DIMM modules with a total capacity of up to 256 GB. Frequencies up to 9000 MT/s in OC mode, dual-channel architecture, AMD EXPO and XMP provide room for memory tuning for games, work applications, rendering, photo processing, video and multitasking.

Cooling includes VRM Thermal Armor Advanced, direct-touch heatpipe, 7 W/mK thermal pads, M.2 Thermal Guard, M.2 Thermal Guard Ext., M.2 Thermal Guard L, M.2 EZ-Flex and a full-size metal plate on the back of the PCB. This construction helps remove heat from power components and fast SSDs during intensive work.
