The Synology DiskStation DS423 is designed for centralised storage of business documents, photographs, video and backup data. Four drive bays support 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, allowing the storage configuration to be selected according to capacity and data protection requirements.

A quad-core 1.7 GHz Realtek RTD1619B processor is paired with 2 GB of DDR4 memory. Synology DiskStation Manager provides file access from computers, mobile devices and web browsers, along with data synchronisation and access permission management.
