HyperX Origins 2 Pro 65 uses a compact 65% form factor that reduces the required desk space while retaining the main keys for gaming and typing. Six function keys are available through the FN layer. The keyboard features a black housing.

Linear magnetic switches support adjustable actuation and Rapid Trigger technology. Rapid Trigger resets key actuation as the key is released, allowing repeated inputs to be performed more quickly in compatible control scenarios.

The polling rate can be adjusted up to 8000 Hz. The keyboard also supports 100% Anti-Ghosting and N-key Rollover for simultaneous key input registration. Onboard memory stores up to three profiles.

The design supports Hot-Swap and is compatible with most two-pin magnetic switches. O-ring mounting cushions key presses, while the replaceable outer housing supports customization with compatible housings.

RGB backlighting supports 16.7 million colors, per-key illumination and five brightness levels. HyperX NGENUITY software provides configuration of profiles, lighting and keyboard functions.
